Our Bentley Countryman restoration project moves onto the next stage! This classic car was originally restored by Slim in the 70s, so this is a great opportunity to add a layer of protection whilst the vehicle has been stripped back. Then it is time to apply the custom paint colour and topcoat to the panels and body of the vehicle before beginning to reassemble the pieces!

The Directors of Morelli Group, the UK’s largest independent distributor of refinish products and services, are pleased to announce that we have acquired Coachfinish NI Ltd, Northern Ireland’s premier refinish distributor. The acquisition of Coachfinish completes Morelli Group’s national footprint in the UK.

Our Bentley Countryman restoration project has been progressing nicely. We have had great feedback from episode one and really want to keep the story going. Read about the next stage which ensures that the bare metal panels have been checked for imperfections and any small dings or dents are to be filled. 

We are delighted to announce that we will be taking over and rebranding the Eyebox Training and Conference Centre from April 2023. The Training Centre has increasingly become a more vital part of Morelli’s core offering. We will be launching the new Eyebox Training and Conference Centre in June 2023. Stay tuned for more announcements and updates!

Morelli are now supplying The Smallest Cog Workshop, the restoration business started by Richard Hammond. There are plans to put Richard through some of Morelli’s IMI Accredited training for paint, and even possibly a detailing course with Slim's Detailing if he can find time around the business of restoring cars.

Slim's historic Bentley Countryman has been in the Moring family for more than 40 years. Follow along with its restoration journey! Episode one shows the car being stripped to bare metal by Wyndon Motors. It has since been moved to the Morelli Training Academy in Coventry, where it will be put into primer to get panels ready for paint.

Morelli Group were delighted to celebrate our 65^th Anniversary with customers, suppliers, and staff who attended our Sapphire Ball at the Forest of Arden.

The IMI held their national finals for the World Skills UK competitions 14-18th November at the Cardiff & Vale College. The final is the culmination of some incredibly tough qualifying events that have taken place to select the best to compete for the top places.
