Trace-Less is a unique glass cleaner that leaves glass streak-free after use, but unlike traditional glass cleaners it will effectively tackle greasy and dry particulate dirt. Providing 100% evaporating surfactants for a no-residue finish, while being safe to use in conjunction with sealant-treated glass or rain repellent treatments.

Bilt Hamber have left behind the traditional non-evaporating surfactants and soaps found in traditional glass cleaners, replacing them with evaporating super-wetting surfactants for the satisfaction of clean glass without the residue. Despite this, the formula is safe for use on pre-treated glass and sensitive metals such as aluminium – Trace-Less will not leave a hydrophobic coating, nor will it stain, damage, or remove protective coatings.

Non-abrasive and powerful, Trace-Less can be used on a variety of surfaces. Safe for use on interior and exterior glass, acrylic, infotainment screens, in addition to tinted glass, mirrors, spectacles, and hard glazed surfaces. To make the most of Trace-Less and its smear-free formulation, only use clean lint-free cloths – this means no detergents and fabric conditioners, the very culprits of glass smearing!

How to use:

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Use on cool glass out of direct sunlight. Avoid overspray onto surrounding surfaces.

For exterior automotive glass and general glass cleaning:

  1. Atomise a fine mist on the surface and wipe off whilst still wet with a waffle weave microfibre or similar lint free cloth turned regularly – buff until dry.
  2. For maximum smear free cleaning reapply a very fine mist and wipe dry with suede microfibre.

Note; If glass has stubborn sealant residue, embedded wiper film, hard water marks or other stubborn bonded soil polish first with good quality glass polish.


For interior automotive glass. Avoid overspray onto surrounding surfaces:

  1. Spray directly onto waffle weave microfibre or similar and wipe over glass surface turning cloth regularly.
  2. Where the highest degree of finish is desired. Repeat as above using suede microfibre.
