This 3M rubber based coating was developed to enable most manufacturers' stone chip finishes to be reproduced in the bodyshop. Black, white, and grey coatings are available for application to any part of the car requiring stone chip protection. This coating can be painted with air drying and low bake paints after two hours at normal temperatures. Medium to heavy textures can be obtained depending on the application method. This product provides an excellent stone-chip resistance and the coating becomes tack free in 10-15 minutes (high solids). The application of a primer is recommended.
