Meguiar's are the largest detailing brand in the UK, founded in 1901 by Frank Meguiar Junior in Indiana, USA.

Frank Meguiar Jr created his first polish with the help of his family, an egg beater and their tin bath, intended for use as a furniture polish. He made the connection between wooden carriages and furniture through the products used that they had in common at the time, and as a result his transition over to the automotive industry had begun.

The business was then moved to Southern California in 1913 to be able to accomodate their professional market. Frank's three sons took the opportunity to make Meguiar's go above and beyond, following his passing in 1950. It wasn't until 1973 that the highly-demanded consumer range was finally available for the public to purchase: the Classic range was then introduced to enthusiasts alike.

In the year 2000, the 50th anniversary of the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance classic car event witnessed 21 of the 25 winners in the "Best In Class" category achieving their winning look with the help of Meguiar's products!

Since Meguiar's origin in 1901, they've come a long way: remaining as a family business four generations later, they are still very much a part of the automotive industry selling their products internationally - with enthusiasts in every corner of the world.
