Boat Descaling Wash is particularly suitable for deep cleaning of the hull and deck, thanks to its highly foaming and acidic formulation. The Acidic setting reliably removes water stains, dirt and other stubborn everyday soiling.
Ideal for reactivating marine ceramic coatings, the shampoo with its special formulation ensures that hydrophilic soiling such as dust and salts are dissolved and removed while the ceramic seal is retained. This revives the dirt and water-repellent properties of the ceramic sealant.
Available in 1 Litre and 5 Litres.
Areas of Use
Stainless steel, gelcoat, paint and plastic surfaces on the outside of the boat. Suitable for coated boats.
Recommendations for Use
Before using the Boat Descaling Wash, coarse soiling should be removed with an alkaline pre-cleaner and a high-pressure wash. This step should be skipped for ceramic-sealed surfaces. Dilute the shampoo 1:200 (50ml to 10L for hand washing) with water. This achieves a pH value of 3.0. If using a foam gun, adjust the pre-dilution accordingly.
Wash the pre-cleaned boat with a washing sponge. Rinse off the product quickly and thoroughly to avoid stains. If possible, dry off any residual water to avoid new limescale stains. Do not use on teak decks and artificial teak deck alternatives. Only use on washable surfaces. Do not allow to dry.
Check for suitability and compatibility before use. Do not use on hot surfaces. Wear safety glasses and gloves during application.
Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. May be corrosive to metals. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Do not breathe vapours or spray. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection.
