Slim’s Detailing is one of the largest car care product resellers in the UK. Stocking thousands of products from over 50 brands, our customers include everyone from enthusiasts, trade and wholesale accounts.

We are currently recruiting a Customer Service Assistant for our team based in Enfield, Middlesex.

Purpose:

To receive and process customer enquiries and orders, as well as providing product advice and recommendations (ongoing training provided) in a courteous and efficient manner. The role will also provide similar assistance to the new Morelli website which will be relaunched later this year.

Experience:

Full training will be provided but a background or prior experience in the Detailing industry would be extremely beneficial.

Reports to:

Branch Manager / Branch Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager / Supervisor Operations Manager

Liaises with:

All relevant Branch Staff & Suppliers when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate, efficient and timely processing of customer orders and enquiries received by telephone, email, social media channels and face to face in our Enfield retail store.
  • Provide best practice detailing advice, product usage and recommendations as well as identifying opportunities to up or cross sell.
  • General administration duties including order tracking, customer website account management, assisting customers using the website, trade account management, onsite customer collections and end of day accounting.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including distributors, couriers, suppliers, branch staff and head office.
  • The role is the first point of contact for many customers so a professional and friendly manner is essential. Be courteous and polite to all customers, encouraging good customer relations.
  • Ensure the shop is kept stocked, clean and tidy at all times.
  • To maintain confidentiality outside Morelli/Slim’s Detailing, regarding any sensitive information.
  • To ensure the security and safekeeping of company property and to ensure the security of any monies received.
  • To ensure all paperwork you are responsible for is processed correctly.
  • To comply with all relevant company operating procedures.
  • To participate in stocktaking as instructed.
  • To comply with all Health & Safety legislation.
  • To undertake other duties as reasonably requested by your Branch Manager/Supervisor or deputy.
